There are many horrors during ww2 and it would be hard to name all of them, but share some of those you know.
Recently I've seen a movie "Woman in Berlin" and before that read about what happened to women during and after battle of Berlin. As it seems by their testemony, it was disaster. All of them raped, even girls, beaten, some commited suicide because they couldn't take it anymore. It wasn't like a one thing rape, it was repeated day after day. Women had to do prostitution to get food and water. It's really horrible to know the reality of things back then. All men killed in war and women are now spoils of war just to be taken.
A german woman published journal she wrote during those days and german public hated it and judged those women. Luckly, woman who published journal was anonymous.
